Staging Our Future 2011-2013
Phase I - Completed
With generous support from government, corporations, foundations and many individuals, the new custom-designed Mainstage theatre opened on June 9, 2011. The larger theatre with new seating, improved sight-lines, enlarged stage and back-stage area, and enhanced lighting and sound capabilities now offers patrons and performers a state-of-the-art outdoor theatrical experience.
Phase II - 2013
The new custom-designed larger Studio theatre is scheduled to open in June 2013. The venue will feature a larger flexible stage configuration and expanded theatre seating. The Festival site will be re-landscaped to maximize the Festival’s ecological footprint, accommodating both the Festival and restoration of the park for winter use.
